About Commissioner Miller

Christine Miller is a community leader with experience in organizational leadership, constituent engagement, and collaborative problem-solving. As Commissioner for ANC 1A’s Fifth District, she has long focused on education and youth affairs, community engagement, and strengthening connections between residents and the District government, having served from 2015 to 2022 and then re-elected in 2024.

Within ANC 1A, Commissioner Miller has served in leadership roles, including Treasurer, Vice Chair, and longtime chairperson of the Commission’s Committee on Education, Youth, and Family, one of the few such ANC committees in the District and the only one in Ward 1.
