Mission
This committee supports ANC 1A by providing recommendations on matters relating to supporting education, youth, and families that impact residents of commission 1A. It strives to keep the community members informed on relevant issues and up to date on pending legislation and Council actions.
The work performed by ANC1A’s Education, Youth, and Family Committee will serve the youth and families of our community both in and out of school through support of education, workforce development, and removing barriers to opportunities. Our work centers on a whole child, whole family, and whole community approach that recognizes that successful outcomes for our youth include a strong and well-supported community.
